Easypaisa is a business-critical branchless banking and mobile-wallet platform. Customers manage digital accounts, transfer money, and access financial services directly from the mobile app, so backend stability and secure verification are critical.
My role
I designed and developed backend functionality for new features and worked in a technical leadership capacity across teams, supporting delivery, deployments, and incident resolution.

- Designed and developed backend functionality for multiple new features in the Easypaisa application.
- Implemented backend functionality for in-app biometric verification, letting customers complete identity verification through the mobile app.
- Identified and resolved a critical backend issue that contributed to an improvement in the app's store ranking, and received a formal appreciation letter for the work.
- Led multiple development teams, providing technical direction and helping resolve functional and technical challenges.
- Onboarded and mentored new team members on the application, development practices, and delivery processes.
Releases and incidents
I participated in production deployments and provided release support, worked in a war-room squad on high-priority incidents, and owned merges of approved changes into Staging and Production branches to support controlled, reliable releases.
