Certifications

Certificates that match the work I have actually done

I do not collect certifications just to collect them. The ones here line up with areas I have used in real projects, mainly API platform work and automation.

Certification

Apigee API Engineer

Google · API Development

December 2018

Lines up with the Apigee API management and monetisation work I handled for a telecom client and in enterprise integration projects.

  • Focused on Apigee development, installation, and monetisation.
  • Useful for work involving API exposure, governance, and secure partner integrations.

Certification

RPA Certified

UiPath · Robotic Process Automation

June 2018

A good complement to backend work because it pushed me to think more about process automation and workflow efficiency.

  • Covered UiPath-based automation fundamentals and solution delivery.
  • Added another angle to automation beyond traditional application code.

Ongoing learning

I usually learn around the work

That was true for API platforms and automation, and it is true now for AI as well. I learn best when I can attach it to a system, a workflow, or a delivery problem that actually exists.

That approach keeps the learning useful and makes it easier to carry new ideas back into production work without overcomplicating things.
