At Confiz I worked in Agile teams for international clients in retail and fintech, contributing to two major programmes: Walmart's Use Tax application and the PIE loan application for the Bahrain market.

Use Tax (Walmart, USA)
For Walmart's Use Tax application I contributed to cloud migration and deployment automation.
- Migrated the existing application to Microsoft Azure and subsequently to the Walmart Cloud Native Platform (WCNP).
- Implemented automated deployments using Jenkins.
- Configured deployment processes and application settings for multiple environments.
- Supported the transition between cloud environments while maintaining the required configuration.
PIE loan application (Bahrain)
For the PIE loan application I developed backend enhancements and set up the delivery environments.
- Developed backend changes for new business requirements and application enhancements.
- Set up Development and UAT servers, separating the database and application across different nodes.
- Implemented Docker-based server setups for Development, QA, and UAT environments.
Overall
Across both programmes the work combined backend development, technical analysis, cloud migration, deployment automation, and delivery support using Jenkins and Docker.
